What is Layetta?
A baby’s wardrobe is referred to as layetta. The important items to be included in a layette are dresses like
- Napkins
- Bibs
- Towels
- Rubber sheets
- Plastic pads.
1.For the cold season a blanket, a sweater, a cap and boodies also may be necessary.
2. It would be helpful to have a plastic panty which can used to prevent soiling of the babies sheets, dresses etc.,
3. Babies clothes should be loose enough to allow freedom of movement and to proment bindings.
4. Sleeveless styles or kimono and raglon sleeve styles or more comfortable than garments with set-in-sleeve.
5. Bib should be made of absorbent and washable cotton material.
