What is Button hole stitch ?

Buttonhole stitch is otherwise known as blanket loop stitch. This stitch is used as an edging for blankets and as a part of a design for which the blanket stitch makes the border. usually, it is worked between a pair of lines. Stitches may be of the same size at a regular distance.

Buttonhole bar stitch is often used in cutwork to link two patterns together. Button stitch embroidered fabric was finishing the edges to prevent them from fraying.

INSTRUCTIONS;

1. When working figure of stitches I feel more comfortable using the embroidery sewing method instead of a piercing, needle, as it emerges from the fabric, forming a perfectly straight line of stitching.
2. Try to put a seam at the same distance from each other.
3. If the fabric you are using is not perfect you can draw two small vertical lines on the thumb, measure the distance between the stitches, and then apply it as you sew.
4. Be careful with the yarn tension when you pull the thread through – stitching must lie on the surface of the fabric with a comfortable, but not too loose.
